Coffins with remains arrived from Ukraine – PZC

LONDON (Reuters) – Once again Saturday remains of victims of disaster flight MH17 moved from Ukraine to the Netherlands. The three boxes arrived just before 16.00 in a military aircraft to Eindhoven Air Base. At a ceremony were the basis on behalf of the Cabinet Ministers Jet Bussemaker (Education, Culture and Science) and Ard van der Steur (Security and Justice) present. 117 survivors also attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony left the funeral procession just after 16:30 pm with the human remains and personal belongings under police escort to the Van Oudheusden barracks in Hilversum. Motorists on the highway to Eindhoven Hilversum (A2 and A27), must take into account extra travel time. During the passage of the procession the other traffic is stopped short. Rijkswaterstaat urges road users not to stop on the driving and emergency lanes and not to stand still along the highway. This can lead to dangerous situations, according to Public Works.

Dutch researchers have found the remains this week in the disaster area in the east of Ukraine. In the crash of the unit of Malaysia Airlines came in July last year, all 298 passengers were killed, including 196 Dutch. Third, all the victims have been identified.
