Kroes gets high advisory role at the bank with activities in the field of business and investment banking in Europe, Middle East and Africa
The US bank writes. “Neelie is a widely respected politician and driver. She will be a tremendous asset to our clients and colleagues in expanding our operations in those regions. “
The newer job Kroes has been approved by the European Commission. Kroes was until November 1 last year, European Commissioner for the Digital Agenda. So soon after the job is still needed permission from Brussels for such advisory role.
The liberal politician was also previously European Commissioner for Competition and Minister of Transport in the Netherlands.
