IND is hands deficit by families Syrians – Telegraaf.nl

The number nareisaanvragen has boomed. The Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) weekly seven hundred requests come in from family members of asylum seekers who want to come to the Netherlands

That’s chief executive Rob Ribbon! IND announced at the presentation of the annual results.

Van Lint points out that the Netherlands has faced in recent months with an increasing number of requests from family members especially Syrian asylum seekers who have a residence permit in the last year have been given the Netherlands. These family members within three months after his father or mother has been authorized to submit an application to also come to our country.

This surge has led the number nareisverzoeken that the IND is now on treatment wait, has risen to 12,000 cases. With the deployment of hundreds of additional staff hopes the authority to handle the huge pile of applications faster
