The PvdA wants Defense replaces the four submarines of the Navy in time and new purchases. So says MP Angelien Eijsink today in Trouw. Coalition partner VVD and CDA have long been advocates.
In the election of 2012 the Labour Party still wanted to abolish the submarine, but remained in the coalition with the VVD boats still preserved. The PvdA nevertheless now supports the outcome of an investigation into the future of the submarine.
