Update

The CFP has a tram driver on non- active duty because he did Friday twenty minutes driving around with a dead man.

The incident happened in tram 5, which was en route from Central Station to Amstelveen. An eyewitness, who boarded at the Beethoven Street, tells The Telegraph that she saw a motionless man on the chair next to where she wanted to sit down. “The man was suspiciously silent with his eyes open, leaning against the window.

The driver of the tram was warned by distressed passengers. He indicated to the situation, be aware but he did not stop to medical personnel the opportunity to give the man – who was still alive when possible – to resuscitate. That could end only at the last stop on the Binnenhof in Amstelveen, but to no avail. The man was already deceased.

Natural death
now appears to be the man, a 56-year-old Amstelvener, died of natural causes. Therefore, the police do not investigate the cause of death. However, the police finds out why the tram is not quiet put when the man was discovered. “No offer assistance to a person in a helpless state is punishable,” said a police spokesman.

CFP spokesman Eric Bosman speaks of a ‘sinister and horrible incident. The agency has also launched an investigation. “We are taking the matter very seriously and want to bring out the lower stone. It is totally unacceptable as a tram driver by driving a deceased person in his vehicle. The safety of our passengers is paramount ‘
