Volunteers make field Go Ahead snow free – AD.nl

Go Ahead Eagles are eagerly looking for volunteers who wish to make clear the snow field in Adelaarshorst. The team from Deventer plays tomorrow at home against ADO Den Haag, as the snow that makes at least possible.



On the field in Deventer is a lot of snow cases. Facility staff of the club are working hard to get snow off the field.

In an appeal asking the group of people with a few free hours, a wheelbarrow, a snow shovel and other useful tools to get to the Adelaarshorst. As a reward, Go Ahead has a very well deserved hot coffee and eternal gratitude of players, staff and club in store.

An hour after that call Go Ahead posted a new photo on Twitter, which shows how a dozen volunteers to work to make the main field of snow.

Tonight there are four games on the program in the Eredivisie. Three of them (Cambuur-PSV, Dordrecht-Excelsior and PEC Zwolle-AZ) will be played on artificial turf, so the snow will not create many problems.

Heerenveen, which receives tonight Vitesse were canceled today matches the B1 and C1 because of the snow.

FC Groningen has canceled all youth duels today. The club plays tomorrow at home against FC Utrecht. In Classic between Ajax and Feyenoord will be played under the closed roof of the Amsterdam Arena. Breda train the players of NAC today just on the main pitch, despite the snow in Breda. Tomorrow NAC plays the derby against Willem II.
