According to the ANV is the title created “because poetry is one of the ways is to make the public aware of the relationship between the Netherlands and Flanders.”
The Poet of the Netherlands wants ANV contribute to the commemoration of the bicentenary United Kingdom of the Netherlands. From 1815 to 1830 were current Belgium and the Netherlands, one kingdom.
