Fewer hours required for school, that could well be very good for the efficiency of the Dutch education. The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) affects in a survey of 33 countries, published today, a remarkable trend: in ‘good’ education countries, are much less class than this. Reported Wedding.

Harnessing these countries unlocked hours properly, improves education. In the Netherlands, a pupil on average 970 hours per year compulsory school, in countries with higher learning outcomes as South Korea, Japan and Estonia is an average of 768 hours. Dutch teachers also run relatively high mandatory lessons.

Countries where both teachers and students have less compulsory teaching hours, scoring well on the authoritative PISA rankings. This research brings every three years from 65 countries to map how well pupils in language and in subjects like math and science. The Netherlands is now thirteenth on the list, and came from a tenth place.
