Facebook removes photos app protection – Telegraaf.nl

Facebook has removed an app that protects user photos. That reports the Volkskrant. The program gives Reclaim watermarked photos, so you can see whose property they are

Reclaim makers developed the app as Commenting on the new terms of use of Facebook, commencing on 30 January. This allows photos that put people on their profile are used for other purposes such as advertising.

On the website of Reclaim can read that Facebook just after a broadcast on BNR counteracted the effect of the app. Also, photos that were protected cleared by the software.
