On Sunday, July 5th, the Tour de France in Rotterdam. Erasmus Bridge a traffic will be carried on the publicity caravan, who rides for the riders.
Monday a meeting took place between the parties and had previously sent a letter to the justice minister and the mayor of Rotterdam already sued to stop the action. However, both the letter and the conversation were fruitless, the police would just let the action continue. The audit will not hinder the competition, the police unions stressed during the meeting. Therefore tension Ahmed Aboutaleb and Ard van der Steur now a lawsuit – a legal procedure to settle a matter of urgency -. Against the police unions
The actions are already fifteen weeks. So are organized in more fines and less found in The Hague for two demonstrations took place. As the Minister of Justice this has not intervened, plans the police unions now an even more drastic action, namely during the Tour de France.
Also on Saturday, during the prologue of the Tour in Utrecht, is an action planned. Then civil servants will be one hour before the start of the trail bikes to slow down the ride. The case is however not directed against it, it is simply the collective labor action in Rotterdam.
