Migraine quickly past? “Panacea is tested ‘- Yahoo! News

More than 1 million Dutch people suffer from a severe form of migraine. For them, the solution is now at hand, researchers believe.

In migraine patients, good results are achieved with the new drug. American researchers who has been smaller studies done to saw in half the number of attacks by half of the subjects. One in five was due to the medication at all off of his complaints. The LUMC will now give the medication to 600 people, AD writes.

However, there are already drugs that help prevent migraines, but they are ‘flukes’. The drugs are used for example for high blood pressure, heart problems and epilepsy and as a side effect that they help for migraines, though no one knows why.

Multiple attacks per month
